Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

The initial psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive 60-90 minute assessment. This initial evaluation is conducted through a secure HIPPA-compliant platform offering complete confidentiality. I will review your psychiatric and medical history and determine a treatment plan that is right for you. I will explore other possibilities for your symptoms, including medical problems, substance use, or personality issues, as these require different treatment. I offer extensive education regarding your diagnosis and will create a collaborative treatment plan that takes into consideration your unique needs. If needed, I will order blood work, genetic testing, and/or psychological/neuropsychological testing to gain further clarity of your symptoms. Treatments including psychotherapy and medications will be discussed to determine the right plan for you. We will thoroughly discuss medications, including their risks and benefits, to allow you to make an informed decision. Book now*.
