What conditions do you treat?
KH Psychiatry focuses on eating disorders, anxiety, mild to moderate depression, OCD, and selected trauma-related conditions. Patients ages 14 and older may be considered based on individual clinical needs and suitability for virtual outpatient care.
Are visits virtual?
Yes. Appointments are provided by telehealth when clinically appropriate.
What states do you serve?
KH Psychiatry provides virtual psychiatric care to patients in Maryland, Iowa, and Kansas.
Do you offer therapy or nutrition counseling?
KH Psychiatry provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Supportive therapy is incorporated into visits, and Intuitive Eating counseling may be included when appropriate. We do not offer stand-alone psychotherapy or medical nutrition therapy. When needed, care is coordinated with qualified therapists, registered dietitians, and medical providers.
Do you treat every eating disorder through telehealth?
No. The appropriate setting and level of care depend on individual psychiatric and medical needs.
